One-to-one therapy is a good way of working with a wide variety of issues
including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stuckness, addictions and a
sense of emptiness. It can also support the changes we need to make so
that we can live our lives more fully
My approach to one-to-one therapy is
based on a wide variety of philosophies
and approaches including
Psychosynthesis, family constellations
work, Gestalt experiment, somatic work,
inner enquiry and mindfulness.
Talking and listening form a major part of
one-to-one therapy. At the same time,
there is a clear focus on going past what
we already know, letting go of the beliefs
we have held for some time and allowing
an inner awareness to provide a deeper
knowledge. Some times we can access
this knowledge through our discussion.
At other times it can be helpful to use
experiential explorations to get past our mental preconceptions and contact
our deeper knowledge. These experiential explorations can include guided
visualisations, drawing and a variety of forms of thought experiment.
Sessions are held in Central London. The fees for a standard session are
£50. Some concessions are available.
